As Nokia has gave up with the efforts to create its own Operating System for the Mobiles (Smart Phones). So, Nokia had recently joined the hands with Microsoft to re-gain the market from the effect of Android based devices and I Phone. The deal is made that Microsoft Windows Phone OS will be used as the OS in the Nokia Smart Phone’s. This alliance will surely help in the market to re-establish its platform in the market and compete with other Android OS based devices.
Microsoft Windows Phone 7.5 codenamed as “Mango” is the major update by Microsoft in the Windows Phone OS which is the key feature of the Nokia Smart Phone’s. It cones with all new 500 features like customized ring tones, speech commands, MS office with cloud services, group social hub, more secure and fast internet explorer and much more which we have already discussed in details in our other article on Windows Phones 7 ”Mango” update.
In the recent Nokia World 2011 Nokia Unveils its two Microsoft Windows 7.5 OS platform Smart Phones with 1.4 GHz Qualcomm CPU, 512 RAM and 16 GB of the storage with 8-megapixel camera HD video recording supported.
Nokia Lumia 800
The Lumia 800 is similar to the MeeGo based N9 in the terms of the design. The main difference lies that the Lumia 800 comes with three hardware buttons on the front (Back, Start and Search) and a camera button. It featured 8 megapixel camera with Carl Zeis optics and dual LED flash with 720p 30 fps video recording. It comes with the Nokia Drive turn-by-turn free offline navigation with car user interface, Mix Radio and Gig finder apps.
Nokia Lumia 710
Second Windows OS platform Nokia Smart Phones is Nokia Lumia 710 which comes with the 3.7-inch 800 x 480 Clear Black TFT display. It comes with the 5-megapixel camera with autofocus and flash and video recording of 30fps HD 720p recording. Similar to the Nokia Lumia 800 &10 comes with the Nokia Drive turn-by-turn offline navigation. It is powered with the 1.4 GHz Qualcomm CPU and provides the capacity of storage of just 8 GB.
Apparently Nokia have released many new Applications such as Nokia pulse app that enable the users to tag and send the images and videos through the various check in geographic locations. Through it searching a friend is so easy. Another one is the Nokia Live View that converts your Smart Phone’s camera view finder and shows the places of your interest near-by you.
