Windows Phone 7 “Mango”

The biggest revolution in the Smartphone OS is the releases of Microsoft’s Window 7 OS for Smartphone’s this year. Microsoft performed CTRL + ALT + DEL operation on the current OS i.e. Windows Mobile Operating System and unveils all new Windows Phone 7 OS for the Smartphone’s.

But it comes with some limitations bur the new update form Microsoft coming two weeks later is the major update for fixing all these limitations and improve the performance much similar to other Android and Apple Smartphone’s. This update is given the codename as “mango” to the world form Microsoft. It is just like as similar to the previous one the difference is that it increase the performance of the OS and fixed the limitations, rest the whole interface is just like the previous one Windows Phone 7 possesses.

This update is updates with all new 500 features which will definitely removes all the loop holes created by the previous two versions of the Windows OS. It improves the Multi-Tasking features of the Windows 7 OS by decreasing the response time in swapping between the tasks running at the same time in the Windows 7 OS.

Microsoft is planning to remove the hold of Android on the Smartphone market by releasing this Windows Phone 7 mango OS update. Clearly Microsoft included the features of cloud computing into this update and it also provides a number of third party Applications. Moreover with this release Microsoft will be the competitor of the Apple and Android in the Smartphone’s OS market.

Mainly it comes with the two new major updates: one is the improvement in the multi-tasking as Android and Apple already improves it through there update but now with “mango” Microsoft is also improving most important multi tasking feature. Secondly, it is now integrated with the all ne Internet Explorer 9 with is more secure and fast and it provides the better experience to the flash websites and HTML5 content  very clearly and fast on the display.

Features:

First Impression
When we boot up the Windows Phone 7 there is the booting screen similar to the previous one as Microsoft only fills the loop holes into the present OS instead of changing the OS from top to bottom. There is no change in UI on the booting up of the device.

Social Network Integration
In the mango update Microsoft gives the new meaning and purpose to the ME hub by providing more meaning to the live tile where you when open the ME hub will be displaying three options: Post a message, check-in‘s and set chat status. You can also create a group of your friends by simply clicking on the create group button below and start adding friends and now you are ready to get status updates and can send messages. You can also share the pictures and videos in the group and also tag the pictures easily.

Email and Messaging
In the previous OS here is a main problem in the managing of the multiple accounts in the single tile so this mango update comes with accessibility of having the single Inbox for the multiple counts for managing the mails form the different mailing accounts. Moreover in this update the messaging is done in the form of threads that is for conservation between two people is saved into single thread so that we can easily move through the chatting that what we are talking about the topic. Also the Facebook, Twitter and Windows Live Messenger messages also display in the thread format and you can also see the mail history for every individual contact by just clicking on the contact.

Multi-Tasking
In the mango update the multi tasking feature is more improved as by pressing the back button the card view like task manger will be opened and by that you can swap between the different tasks. Microsoft had mainly improved the Multi-Tasking features to make the Windows Phone 7 more effective and accessible to user.

Internet Browsing
As the mango updates is updated with the new advanced and secure Windows Internet Explorer 9 Internet Browser which have full support for the HTML5 and CSS 3.0. In the previous one you have to go back to the portrait mode when you are in the full screen mode if you want to enter the URL, but in the mango update it is being updated as now an URL bar is always available but you can hide it easily if you want to.

Pictures and Camera
In the Windows Phone there is always a problem that we have to perform the camera settings each time we have to record the videos and images. But in the new mango update the soft keys are provided with the save settings options to save permanently the camera settings. Moreover it is being provided with the features to click the photograph by just tapping on the screen.

Office Hub
Mango update is being upgrade with the new Office 365 office tools for the businesses which provide the platform to share documents, slideshows and PDF files so that you can easily manage your business documents. The three main services are: Exchange, SharePoint and Lync.

Window 8 USB Installation

As we have already posted the article on the Windows 7 USB Installation, so now we come with the installation of the new version of the Windows which is recently launched i.e. Windows 8. The whole process is similar to the Windows 7 Installation but the real different is that you will require having Windows 8 ISO image file.

Procedure:

1). First of all you will need a 4GB USB device to make it bootable for Windows 8 Installation.

2). Then you will be needed the software for making USB bootable with installation files. You can download it HERE.

3). Now you will need Window 8 Installation ISO Image file that contains all the bootable files, which you can download from the HERE. Then launch the Windows 7 USB DVD Download Tool shortcut on the desktop.

4). Then click on browse and select the ISO Image file.

5). After it select your USB device drive for installation or you can select the DVD option if you want to make bootable DVD for installation but here we are considering about the USB only so we select USB device here.

6). Now select your USB device with minimum 4GB free space.

7). The tool will automatically format the USB device to make it bootable device.

8). Then it copies the bootable files from the installation ISO file to the USB device and wait until it gets 100 % done and then exit the tool and restart the computer.

Note:
Don't forgot to change the BIOS setting by pressingg F8 or F12 key and make the USB diskette Device to first boot device. Now your USB device is ready with installation. One more thing please remove the USB from the USB port when the computer reboots for the first time otherwise it will again starts the setup from the beginning.

Window 7 USB Installation

Today even the price of the DVD and Compact Disks are low but still they are not so portable to maintain. So feeling the requirement of USB Installation Source Device for Installation of Operating System I introduced this post. USB is also very portable and more over we can re-program it many times as we need to. USB is a very high speed bus having the maximum speed of 480 MB/s data transfer rate so it can perform the Data Transfer at faster rates.

Once you create bootable USB you don’t require Windows DVD and moreover USB have more efficiency as DVD’s can be destroyed on getting scratched by anything but data stored in USB remained safe.

Procedure:

1). First of all we require the 4 GB USB pen drive for making bootable USB and Windows 7 ISO installation image file..

2). Then you will need some software’s which you can easily download Here for free.

3). Now open the Zip file and install the Windows 7 USB/DVD Download tool and launch the application.

4). Then click on browse and select the ISO Image file.

5). Now select your USB device drive for installation, you can also select DVD if you want to burn it to the DVD but here we will click on USB.

6). Now select your USB device with minimum 4GB free space.

7). This tool will automatically format the USB device to make it bootable device.

8). Then it copies the bootable files from the installation ISO file to the USB device and wait until it gets 100 % done and then exit the tool and restart the computer.

Note:
Don't forgot to change the BIOS setting by pressing F8 or F12 key and make the USB diskette Device to first boot device. Now your USB device is ready with installation. One more thing please removes the USB from the USB port when the computer reboots for the first time otherwise it will again starts the setup from the beginning.

Internet Protocol version 6(IPv6)

Internet Protocol version 6(IPv6) is a new version of Internet Protocol (IP). It is designed to succeed the Internet Protocol version 4(IPv4) currently being used in the networks. Internet Protocol is the set of rules that are responsible to transfer the packets of data from the host over the network.

In order to communicate each computer requires a unique IP address to communicate in the network with the network and other computers. The growth of the internet users is increasing day by day that’s why we are facing the need for the new IP address series which is that’s why the IPv6 has been developed to fulfill the needs of the new IP addresses as the IPv4 can provide services to only 4 Billion users only after that IPv6 has to been used in any aspect. IPv6 is developed by the Internet Engineering Task Force (IETF) to deal with the exhaustion of the IPv4 addresses.

It is just like the IPv4 protocol but the real difference is that the IPv4 allows 32 for the IP address and can support 232 (4,294,967,296) addresses and the IPv6 uses 128-bit addresses and supports 2128 (3.4 × 1038) addresses. It solves many problems of the IPv4 which includes mobility, auto configuration and overall extensibility.

Microsoft is working on the IPv6 for long years to deliver the users with the transition from IPv4 to IPv6 which is due to the up gradation of the internet. It includes the built-in IPv6 support into Microsoft Windows which includes Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2.
